Male first names in the 'Koopmansgilderol'
of Deventer, the years 1338-1387

In this document all the new members of the Deventer merchants guild were witten up in Latin. The number of names taken from 1338-1387 is roundabout 860. In Italic are the non latin names that were encountered. The percentages give an estimate of how much percent of the said 860 were known by a certain first name.
In three cases the word soen (son) has been kept in place so as to make clear why the name is spelled here the way it is.

The most common male first names, put in an order from number of times encountered.
